Creative Weekend!
I had a great weekend. I always hate when it comes to an end. It would be nice to have one more day of play!
First things first, you can like me on Facebook! I'd like to have a giveaway, but I'd like more than 4 followers!! ;)
Next, do you Pin? Because you should. You can 'pin' ideas, recipes, clothing, things you want, etc. to your own Pinterest boards, and you can view everything that you like all in one place. You can follow me on Pinterest too.
This project is something that my aunt saw on Pinterest and JUST.HAD.TO.MAKE.IT. I got vinyl dots from a local store, and the ribbon from another local store. We bought all the flowers and wreaths at Hobby Lobby...everything there was half off. Score! (A funny little story, I had Carson with me at HL and he picked out some Starburst candy. When we got in the car, he wanted to eat his candy. He said, 'turn a wight on, I can't hee.' LOL I have laughed about that all weekend! That's turn a light on, I can't see.)
We all got together over the weekend to do our wreaths and to eat. I drew the letters, and my aunt's husband cut them out. I never knew he had a floral touch. ;)
This was our inspiration.
Here is what we did...

I made Caramel Apple Cream Cheese Dip too. It was delicious! It was almost like eating a crunchy caramel apple. It also came from Pinterest.
I finished up a couple more orders.
Max wasn't too thrilled that I was doing an Alabama shirt. He said he wouldn't tell anyone. I made him an Auburn shirt using a helmet from Applique Cafe. He said a teacher told him that his Mama needed to make him an Alabama shirt, and he responded back with NO! Then he told me that she looked like someone that would look like an Alabama fan.

One Can Never Have Too Many Pumpkins
Now that Fall is here, I got some cute pumpkin appliques from Applique Market.
I love the ric-rac. I've ordered some of the orange ta dot fabric - I hope it doesn't take too long to get here!
For the boys...
Mini embroidery footballs that go on both sides of an initial. There is also a larger football that can be put on polo shirts.
Yea, that's all I got for the boys.
Several things to work on this weekend! I'll try to post some pictures when I get everything completed.

Lily's Outfits
A sweet Momma brought me some fabric that she picked out and shirts that would match.
I've made ruffled pants before. As the mom of BOYS, I don't get much practice with ruffles. On the first pair, I did a basting stitch and then bunched it all together. On the other two pants, I made the ruffles while I attached the fabric to the pants. So much easier!

More Designs
Designs from Hang to Dry.
Frayed Flower Flip-Flop
Just Peachy Applique.
The towtruck also comes in a vintage stitch.
MCA Designs.
New Appliques and a Font...
Arizona font - cute for boys and girls!
New designs from Planet Applique:
Lullaby Frame
New Fall designs
(I love the wagons!)
There are so many more CUTE designs for the holidays. My Paypal is not liking me right now! ;)
Over the weekend, I sewed 3 pairs of ruffles pants and did matching appliqued tops. I will try to post a picture of them soon. I was excited about the ruffled pants. I can whip up a jon-jon or a pair of reversible shorts/pants for the boys, but I was a little nervous about doing GIRLY pants.
In other news...
I let Max walk to his classroom this morning. :( As soon as he got out, I wanted to call him back and tell him that I would take him. I'm glad he did it though! He's 5. His Mama (or Mimi) can still walk him to his classroom!
Carson has somewhat learned to wink. Oh my. This child is a MESS! He likes to do something funny, walk off, then turn around and give you a little bit more. He is now calling himself, 'Tayer'.
Off to bed...Night!

It's Fall Y'all...almost!
Shirt - $20
Boobs - $3,000. Each.
Haha! I kid, I kid! My aunt is wearing the shirt that she wanted since her two boys play football. We decided to go with Applique Cafe's reverse helmets, but do it in the school's colors instead. We used Giggles and Grins, Tipsy Topsy, and Times New Roman fonts. The mascot is a Colt, so I used the Grins and Giggles "U" for a horseshoe on the helmets. It turned out pretty cute - we just need to get the right green!
Another fall shirt for a birthday boy that is turning 2! This turned out really cute! I need to make one for my boys to wear. This applique is from Applique Frenzy.

Baby Items and Fonts.
Here is what I did with the girl appliques that I purchased the other day. We were almost late for the shower because I was having so much fun. I hope Mom and baby enjoy their goodies.
(Sorry about the bad quality of pictures!)
Here is a shirt that I did for Max to wear to school. I made one for Carson too.
Now onto the FONTS that I have. Some of them have pictures, and some you will have the click the link.
